A little bit about us.

Michael D. Lynch has called the North Florida area home for over 20 years, relocating after serving in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed at the Pentagon and aboard the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy (CV-67) during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.  He earned an Associate’s Degree in Business at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Fisher School of Accounting at the University of Florida in Gainesville and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida in Pensacola.

 

His initial steps as a tax professional began as a student in Gainesville where he worked several tax seasons for H&R Block.  He continued advancing his accounting background working as a tax professional at respected CPA firms in Pensacola and Tallahassee.  Additionally, he obtained professional auditing exposure working with the Florida Auditor General in Tallahassee and invaluable tax expertise working as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service in Tallahassee and Panama City prior to launching his own CPA firm, Lynchpin Tax Solutions, LLC in 2016.  His extensive professional background, licensure as a Certified Public Accountant and Enrolled Agent, as well as his insightful experience as an IRS Revenue Agent, make him uniquely and exceptionally well qualified to be the “Lynchpin” to your financial peace of mind and wellbeing.

 

Michael also holds a 100 ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s license and loves to enjoy the wonderful outdoors that the Gulf Coast area has to offer.  He plans to work towards receiving his private pilot’s license in the future.  And for more fun he plans on working to become admitted to practice as a United States Tax Court Practitioner.
